Essential fatty acids are components of the natural cell membrane, so they are essential for intact skin and shiny, dense and tight coat.
A deficiency in these fatty acids leads to various coat changes, such as dryness, dandruff, hair loss and itching.
If this deficiency is not balanced in the long term, skin problems occur.

The feeding of cold-pressed vegetable oils to a high-quality complete feed is useful in such a case, as the ingredients already mixed in normal feed are often changed by the manufacturing process.
In Velcote, an optimal ratio of the most important fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6) is achieved for the animal body by a sensible combination of African nut oil, wheat germ and linseed oil.
